My new job

I feel like if I was in elementary school (which I will be for a month out of this next semester) and I was asked what were the top two things I did this summer, it would be this.
1. I got married.
2. I started a new{ish} job.
In that order.
What are the top five about this new job?
1. The day goes by so much faster. I never worry about long shifts--because all I work now is long shifts. Putting together orders, making product, and talking to customers takes up more time than sitting at my cart.
2. I get to work with people. The occasional chat with old people, long-lost friends, and fellow cart workers does not fill the time that talking with the other girls in the office does.
3. I do not sit in one spot for most of my shift. You can only clean and restock for so long.
4. The new job has more action. This is not hard seeing as how the most action I got from the cart was from large sales and irate customers.
5. I have more flexible hours. I also do not have to worry about who is going to take a shift because the one person that can work it asked for the day off.

I only hope I will begin to understand fast talking Southerners better. I seem to chat with that type of accent more than any other on the phone.
